About Me
Hi, I'm Alex Ho a Software Product Manager.

About This Blog
This blog is where I share my personal experiences and knowledge across a few areas I'm passionate about:
✍️ Travel
I'm an avid traveler who believes in slow, immersive travel. My most extensive series documents my 800km walk along Spain's Camino de Santiago (the French Way), with 32 detailed daily logs covering routes, accommodations, gear advice, and personal reflections.
I also write in-depth travel guides for Japan (Kyoto, Tokyo, and beyond), Southeast Asia, and Europe, based entirely on my own visits and firsthand experiences.
📚 Japanese History
I have a deep interest in Japanese history, particularly the Bakumatsu period and the figures who shaped modern Japan. My articles explore historical events, key figures like Sakamoto Ryōma and Takasugi Shinsaku, and the places connected to their stories.
💡 Product Management & Business
Drawing from my career in tech, I write about product management methodologies, business strategy, behavioral finance, and digital advertising — sharing frameworks and lessons learned from real-world experience.
🎬 Film Notes
Occasional reflections on films that left an impression.
Why This Blog Exists
I started this blog to organize my own knowledge and share it with others who might find it useful. Every article is written by me personally, based on my own experiences, research, and perspectives. I don't use AI-generated content or copy from other sources.
